Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Deciding to pursue therapy is a brave step that requires commitment and an openness to change. There are many reasons someone might seek therapy, and you don’t need to be in a crisis to benefit from it. Therapy provides a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, gain deeper self-awareness, identify long-standing patterns, and develop effective coping strategies. Whether you’ve found therapy helpful in the past, experienced limited progress, or are considering it for the first time, we’re here to support you. We invite you to schedule a consult call, where we can discuss your needs and how we can best assist you.
Do you accept insurance?
Danielle is in-network with several insurance providers. Please contact us directly to determine your eligibility and benefits. Out-of-network fee is $135/session.
Dr. Drames is an out-of-network provider and does not currently accept insurance. Out-of-network fee is $175/session.
Some insurance plans may offer reimbursement for out-of-network services. We’d be happy to provide a superbill (a detailed invoice that contains information about the provider, the client, and service provided), for you to submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement. It is helpful to inquire with your specific plan about your behavioral health benefits. See below:
Do I have a policy that has out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health therapy?
What is my out-of-network deductible? (the amount you pay for services before your health insurance begins to pay)
How much of my out of network deductible has been met?
What percentage of the service will be covered once I’ve met my deductible? (Usually a percentage, such as 80%)
What is the reimbursement for service code 90837 (60 min session)?
What is the process for submitting for reimbursement?
Payment is accepted in the form of credit card or HSA/FSA cards via our HIPAA compliant online portal, Simple Practice, at time of service.
Where are you located?
At this time, all services are provided via Telehealth. We can provide services to residents of: Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington DC, Florida, New Jersey and more! Contact us with your specific location to determine if you are eligible.
Sessions are conducted virtually by video. With online therapy, you have the benefit of flexible and convenient care from the comfort of your home.
What does the therapy process look like?
We refer to the first appointment as the “intake”. This is an opportunity to meet with your clinician to discuss and identify your goals for therapy. Your clinician will also gather relevant information about your history, what led you seek therapy, and discuss recommendations.
We then recommend scheduling on a weekly basis to begin strengthening the working relationship with your therapist and gain momentum towards meeting your therapy goals. Some clients then opt to taper to bi-weekly sessions, or monthly “maintenance” sessions.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that you kindly notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment of any cancellation/rescheduling requests. Barring any emergency situation within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment, clients who do not contact us before this window will be charged a late fee.
How do I get started?
Please visit the contact page of our site, reach out via telephone (856) 497-3178, or email us at info@livebettertherapysolutions.com. We will do our best to respond to your inquiry within 24-48 hours and can provide a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your therapy options. After the consultation, new clients will receive a welcome email to access the client portal to complete the registration process. If, after consultation, our services do not seem like the best fit, we can provide referrals to other amazing therapists in our network.
What should I do in the event of an emergency?
During non-business hours our phone is answered by voicemail and we cannot guarantee each call will be returned before the next business day (Mon-Fri). In the event of an emergency or crisis, please call 911 or proceed to your nearest emergency room. You can also reach The Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling/texting 988 (for additional resources: https://988lifeline.org/)
